1970's Celebrities and Notables - Photographs by Michael Gold

This photography exhibition of Celebrities and Notables is representative of numerous assignments Michael had been entrusted with very early in his New York City freelance career photographing famous celebrities and outstanding notables in other important fields. This is the first time nearly all of the photos in the show have ever been seen before.

Michael Gold's career included photography assignments for many publications including The New York Times Magazine, Opera News, Esquire, Fortune, and the National Lampoon. Michael Gold is also the author of numerous books including Seaweed Dinosaurs & Other Odd Seaweed Creatures, Raining delusions: A Catskills Novel, Campaign Companion, and Modern American Manners.
