History Lecture: Jim Craft, The American Guide Series: The WPA’s Travel Books of the 1930’s

Historian Jim Craft returns to discuss the Federal Writer’s Project, a New Deal program established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to create work for unemployed artists, musicians, actors and writers, an outcome of which was the American Guide Series.
