The New Brunswick Free Public Library, in partnership with the New Brunswick Cultural Center and Rutgers Indian Graduate School Association, invites you to join us for a vibrant, fun-filled celebration of the Indian festival of colors! This program is free and open to all ages. There will be music and dance performances, henna, face painting, live Dhol play, sampling of Indian food, and Holi color play*! A special feature will be a musical dance drama: A Story of Holi, by Navrang Dance Academy. (*This is an outdoor event. Please understand that after color play, you will not be allowed in the building.)
Registration is required to attend this event; register at tinyurl.com/HoliNB. UPDATE: As of March 8, the event is at capacity and we can no longer accept new registrations.
This project is supported in part by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
