The 1895 Beer Release

Johnson City Brewing Company (JCBC) is bringing back The 1895, a beer inspired by your Library! JCBC first created the delicious pre-prohibition style lager in 2020 to commemorate the Library's 125th anniversary. Ages 21 and older are invited to stop by for a pint of The 1895 at JCBC's downtown taproom (257 E. Main St.) on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m. to celebrate its re-release!

The brewery, which opened in 2014, is bringing back The 1895 for a limited time as part of its 10th anniversary celebration. The beer will be on tap and available in cans for a limited time. JCBC is also creating three flavor varieties of the lager that will be available at their downtown taproom.
