In honor of International Tea Day and the Longwood Gardens Community Read book, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and adapted by Calista Brill attend our FREE movie matinee.
After viewing the film, we will discuss the original novel along with the picture book adaptation by Brill and the Secret Garden movie. A short discussion will include a comparison of both 2024 Longwood Gardens Community Read books, The Secret Garden & The Last Garden in England by Julia Kelly.
Light refreshments will be served.
Adults of all ages are encouraged to attend. Students in Grades 2nd-12th are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult. Please note that children do not need to stay for the discussion portion of the program, but teens and adults are encouraged to stay for the talk.
