Ignite your artistic abilities to support pollinators. Create little clay stones/water vessels with local artist Heather Hansen and paint a large-scale mural with local artist Kegane Rynes to celebrate bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and fireflies – delightful and crucial pollinators. The mural will be put on display in Story Gardens and the clay stones will be available for purchase during the library’s Monarch Festival. This event is open to young girls, ages 9-18, and space is limited. Dinner will also be provided, as well as a presentation by David Bendlin on the importance of protecting pollinators!
