Would you like to combat the aging process? Maybe more specifically – would you like to improve your golf (or pickle ball) game, be more active with your grandkids, or just start and move through your day with more energy and fewer aches and pains?
Chair Yoga at the library is designed to increase flexibility, build and maintain strength, and improve balance, using traditional seated and standing yoga postures and movement with the breath. You will receive clear guidance each step of the way, and questions are welcomed, for example: “Am I doing this right?” or “Should I be feeling this here?” We will not get down on the floor during our practice. The chair allows us to begin and end our practice comfortably seated, and when we stand up it is used for support and stability. This is an appropriately physical practice – you will leave feeling stretched, relaxed, physically tired and mentally focused.
Registration is not required.
