Please join us for a dialogue about the first 100 years of the history of Southern University and A&M College. This program will honor the only HBCU system in the world.

Dr. Charles Vincent PhD, is presenting this African American history program featuring Southern University's history. The presentation will feature a discussion of the book, A Centennial History of Southern University and A&M College, 1880-1980, followed by a book signing by Dr. Vincent.

Charles Vincent PhD, President of the Mwalimu Institute, represents District One on the Baker City Council. Vincent authored proclamations and resolutions passed by the Baker City Council, declaring February as Black History Month. Black History Month helps us all remember & honor the many contributions by African Americans to our American culture.
