Ros Kish-Levine is a multimedia artist with a focus in printmaking. They recently graduated from Oberlin College with BA in studio art and are currently based in Sharon CT. They are interested in the lenses we see and create through —how the world around us is transformed by perception and then again by creation. As a printmaker they work with reproducible media, creating multiples of the same image that are differentiated through the process of printing. By combining print with other materials their work highlights where binaries such as 2D and 3D intersect. They aim to blur distinctions and draw connections through the repetition and abstraction of forms. Much of their current work focuses on the overlap and contradiction between ‘nature’ and ‘culture.’
