Get ready for STEM Day with fun hands-on activities to celebrate 75 years of the National Science Foundation turning research into reality. 

9:00-10:30: Hands-on activities for all ages with 3D printing, American Sign Language, science experiments, citizen science, a science scavenger hunt, and more.

10:30-12:30: Talk and screening of Coded Bias by Oxford native Dr. Joy Buolamwini, bestselling author of Unmasking AI: My Mission to Protect What is Human in a World of Machines and founder of the Algorithmic Justice League. Dr. Buolamwini will sign books, which will be available for sale thanks to the Friends of the Library and Square Books, between 9:00 and 10:30.

In partnership with SciStarter, University of Mississippi Libraries, University of Mississippi Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, University of Mississippi Center for Science and Mathematics Education, University of Mississippi Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Square Books.
