Community Mutual Aid Event

Partnering with DAMAN (Dearborn Area Mutual Aid Network), the Dearborn Public Library will host a free mutual aid fair featuring resources, workshops, and opportunities to connect with your neighbors. Visitors can come inside for access to nonperishable food, hygiene supplies, clothing, and harm reduction resources. Enjoy a fresh hot meal and participate in hands-on activities including a mending table, Tatreez embroidery circle, and zine/craft workshop. Learn how we can support each other as a community from local mutual aid groups, attend a Know Your Rights workshop about engaging with ICE.

This event embodies Dearborn Public Library's commitment to being a welcoming, accessible space that responds to community needs and fosters civic engagement. All are welcome; come for resources, stay for connection. We encourage masking to help protect our community members.
