Lego Contest Voting Period

Time for the Springfield Township Library 19th Annual Lego Contest! Visit the library to vote Monday, March 2 through Saturday, March 14. Voting is open to all library visitors so tell your friends and family one vote per person for the duration of the contest. 

Dates:
Entry Period: Monday, February 23 through Saturday, February 28
Voting Period: Monday, March 2 through Saturday March 14
Winners Announced: Tuesday, March 17
Project Pick-up: Monday, March 23 through Saturday, March 28

Rules:

1. Age categories: 6 yrs & under; 7-8 yrs; and 9-14 yrs. Constructions made by a group will be placed in the age group of the oldest participant.
2. Use your own LEGO, DUPLO, MEGABLOCKS, or other plastic bricks.
3. Entries should be your own unique creation, not a design-kit.
4. Entry MUST be on a 12”x12” cardboard square or Lego base. A label explaining your creation is permissible.
5. Label the underside of the cardboard (or base) with your name(s), age(s), and a phone number. DO NOT MAKE YOUR NAME VISIBLE ANYWHERE ON YOUR LEGO PROJECT!
6. The Springfield Township Library is not responsible for lost parts.
    

Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the winner in each age category whose creations receive the most votes from library patrons. All participants receive a ribbon and certificate. All prizes are provided by the Friends of the Springfield Township Library.
