Story Time & Sibling Shenanigans!

Bring ALL the kids to Story Time!  

Ms. Sarah & Ms. Victoria lead Story Time with songs and dancing, plus the precious shaky eggs! Sometimes, Sir Murphy the service dog comes! 

Everyone is welcome to hear the stories, but for play time, the bigger, school-aged kids head off for age-appropriate activities separate from the littles. We call this Sibling Shenanigans! The goal is NOT to trample any toddlers!*

If the weather is bad (rainy or too hot), we will be inside. 

• Story Time upstairs in the meeting room (all ages)
• Sensory Play for the littles in the Wiseman Discovery Center*
• Open Art in the vestibule (all ages)
• School-aged kids only in the conference room

When the weather allows, we have Story Time & Sibling Shenanigans outside. Please check our Facebook (@lplibrary) at 9am to know whether Story Time will be held outdoors that day!  

• Story Time and sensory play on the patio
• Bubbles, sidewalk chalk and water play on the other patio
• Sensory Play for the littles in the Wiseman Discovery Center*

You’ll want to bring towels on water play days.  And yes, there is a dry zone for caretakers.  Some shade is available, but sunblock is recommended.

*Watch for special big-kids-only sensory play times in the Wiseman Discovery Center.
