AARP Smart Driver Course

The AARP Smart Driver course teaches valuable defensive driving strategies and provides a refresher of rules of the road. Since 1979, the course has helped more than 15 million drivers learn research-based tips to adapt their driving to compensate for physical and cognitive changes that may occur with aging. Plus, you may qualify for a multi-year auto insurance discount by completing the course (check with your insurance agent for details). Local resident and retired physician Dick Huber will present. Minimum class size of four must be reached for the class to take place. 

The course costs $20 for AARP members (you will need your AARP number) and $25 for non-members, to be collected at the start of class and payable by cash or check (made out to AARP). Space is limited so register online or by calling 317-881-1953 (press 4). No age limit. Your registration information will be shared with AARP after the class.
