Adult Battle of the Books Fundraiser

Why should kids have all the fun?  Join us for an adult only Battle of the Books event to raise funds for our Middle School and High School Battle of the Books teams.  Please note the registrations deadline is Friday, February 27.  

Event Details:

• Start time is 6 PM.
• $30/ person.  Drop off your payment at the front desk.
• Participants must be over 21.
• Teams up to 5 people.  Please register each team member separately and send an email to jessicar@butterfieldlibrary.org with your team name and team members.
• If you are interested in participating, but don't have a team, email jessicar@butterfieldlibrary.org as soon as possible.  
• Read 5 pre-selected titles 
  • A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
  • Slow Horses by Mick Herron
  • Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy
  • Late Migrations by Margaret Renkl
  • Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout
• Guaranteed number of games will be based on the number of teams registered for the event.
• Each round of the competition will have 15 trivia or battle style questions.
• Light snacks will be served
• In the event of inclement weather, the competition will be rescheduled.
