All About The Henry Ford College Radio Station WHFR

WHFR Radio Station, 89.3 FM and WHFR.fm is Henry Ford College's award-winning independent, non-commercial broadcast and Internet radio station. WHFR broadcasts locally at 89.3 on the FM radio dial and world-wide at WHFR.fm on the web. The station operates with a student and volunteer staff of about 60 persons, directly supervised by HFC Telecommunication faculty.

The Radio Station provides real-world telecommunication lab experience for HFC students, serves the needs of Dearborn and the surrounding communities, and assists with HFC college relations. 

Susan McGraw, HFC's academic coordinator of Telecommunication and Journalism and WHFR general manager, will join us in-person to talk all about the Station.
