An Evening with Catherine Newman

In partnership with PBS Books and DPTV, RHPL welcomes New York Times bestselling author Catherine Newman. Join us for an evening of insightful conversation, an audience Q&A, and a book signing. The first 50 registrations will receive a free copy of Wreck at the event courtesy of RHPL*. Books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of Novel A Book and Sandwich Shop. This event will be recorded and broadcast on DPTV. 

*Patrons must be present at the event to receive their book. Patrons who cancel or fail to show up for the event will forfeit their book to the next present registrant. 

​Catherine Newman is the New York Times bestselling author of the memoirs Catastrophic Happiness and Waiting for Birdy, the middle-grade novel One Mixed-Up Night, the kids’ craft book Stitch Camp (co-authored with Nicole Blum), the best-selling how-to books for kids How to Be a Person and What Can I Say? and the novels We All Want Impossible Things, Sandwich, and Wreck (forthcoming October 2025). She writes the Substack newsletter Crone Sandwich and has been a regular contributor to the New York Times, Real Simple, O, The Oprah Magazine, Cup of Jo, and many other publications. She lives in Amherst, Massachusetts.
