Art Explorers

“Every child is an artist,” according to Pablo Picasso. Your Library believes that as well, so children ages 8-12 are invited to examine the wide spectrum of artists and original techniques during Art Explorers. Each program will highlight a specific artist, sparking creativity and discovery. Young art enthusiasts will then complete their very own masterpieces inspired by that session’s featured art style. This fall, we will meet at 4 p.m. in the Jones Meeting Center on the following Fridays: September 13, October 11, and November 15. Registration is required.

September’s session will focus on Claude Monet. As he is famous for his nature paintings, we will be making our very own watercolor lily pads!
