From Lived Experience to Published Work:  
Writing, Voice, and the Self-Publishing Journey

Author and facilitator Julie Gruber invites you to an intimate and thoughtful author event exploring how personal experience becomes published work. Julie will reflect on writing from lived experience, the role of language and mindfulness in her creative process, and her journey through self-publishing. The event will include readings from her published book, Living Alongside Chronic Pain: Affirmations for Your Journey, excerpts from her upcoming nonfiction work, and reflections on the practical and personal sides of bringing a book into the world. Time will be set aside for participants’ questions and conversation. 
 
This event will appeal to readers, writers, and anyone curious about the creative process behind meaningful, experience-based nonfiction.  
Books will be available for purchase, and Julie will be available to sign copies following the event.
