The Bayou Saxophone Ensemble has been a part of Bayou Community Band of Thibodaux, Louisiana, since 1992. Their music ranges from Jazz, Swing, Vaudeville, Ragtime and Patriotic, to Contemporary and Classical. They've performed at Celebration in the Oaks at New Orleans’ historic City Park, Houma’s Downtown on the Bayou festival, Thibodaux Arts Walk, Thibodaux Music Club, Morgan City’s Christmas festival at the floodwall, and at Nicholls State University's Jubilee. The group has performed at schools in Lafourche, Terrebonne, and St. Mary Parishes. The group performs at senior living centers and non-political fundraisers. The ensemble now rehearses and performs in the Baton Rouge area but retains its affiliation with Bayou Community Band.
