Come join us for a beginner's sewing class with award winning seamstress, Jaime Coffman. Jaime will be teaching us how to make a simple yet durable tote bag-- perfect for books and Halloween treats! She will demonstrate the utility of interfacing. The sewing project will be complete with a pattern for you to take home.
Ages 18+, registration required. Limited number of machines available, if you have your own sewing machine, select a BYO machine ticket when registering!
Important note for BYO sewing machine registrants: The selected fabrics we are providing are dark purple and black. We are requesting that you have bring black thread for your machine and bobbin and have a standard sewing machine needle. If you are able, please arrive 30 minutes early (12:00pm) if you need assistance in threading your machine or bobbin.
Registration for GPL and reciprocal card holders opens on September 1st and to the general public on September 22nd.
