Come join us for a book reading, signing, and discussion with local author Barbara Linkous on February 9th at 6:00 pm. We will be discussing her fictional book Cora's Story: Life on Bays Mountain, as well as her devotional Words Attitudes Actions.
It’s been a busy two years for a lifelong resident of the Kingsport/Church Hill, TN. area. Barbara Arnold Linkous has written and published two books, and the third book will be available to purchase in just a few weeks.
The new book continues the historical fiction Life on Bays Mountain series. Cora’s Story, the first in the series, is a first-person account of Cora Crawford. She shares with the reader her adventurous, sometimes tragic, life growing up in rural northeast Tennessee during the early 1900s. The second book of this series, Murrell’s Story, is a parallel account of Murrell Crawford as he navigated his childhood and coming-of-age life.
After Barbara finished Cora’s Story, she published a prayer devotional, Words Attitudes Actions, a collection of thoughts that will encourage you to start with prayer.
Words Attitudes Actions is currently available on Amazon as an e-book or paperback. Cora’s Story is also available on Amazon as an e-book, paperback, and audiobook on Audible and iTunes. Several local libraries have Barbara’s books. Murrell’s Story will be available very soon.
