Beyond the Pale Graphic Novel Club: "Palestine"

The Library's monthly Beyond the Pale Graphic Novel Club for ages 18 and older meets Thursday, May 25 at 6 p.m. at Mulligan's Gaming Pub (308 East Main Street, Johnson City). This month's graphic novel title is Palestine by Joe Sacco.

Palestine is "a landmark of journalism and the art form of comics. Based on several months of research and an extended visit to the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the early 1990s, this is a major work of political and historical nonfiction" (Fantagraphics).
