1. Grand Haven Salmon Festival – Grand Haven

This two-day event on September 14^th and 15^th in Grand Haven marks the transition from the end of summer to the beginning of fall and the harvest season. 2. Bessemer Pumpkinfest – Bessemer

The city of Bessemer offers an annual event in the Upper Peninsula that the whole family will enjoy. The event runs from September 24^th-27^th and is the perfect way to get into the fall spirit!

4. Charlevoix Apple Festival

Celebrate fall in downtown Charlevoix October 12^th-14^th, while supporting local farmers, orchards, and non-profit organizations. Visitors can stroll through apple orchards that have over 30 varieties of apples, and the fall farmers market with fall favorites, such as pumpkins, pies, cider, and many more! The festival provides plenty of craft booths and kid activities, such as face painting and the Interactive Miniature Trains.

5. Oktoberfest – Treetops, Gaylord

Witness the beauty of the iconic autumn colors that Northern Michigan has to offer at Treetops in Gaylord. For one day only, on October 13^th, visitors of all ages can enjoy chairlift rides, lark walks, campfire, cider and donuts, s’mores, German barbeque, lawn games, outdoor activities, live music, and a beer tent for adults. Admission is 10 dollars per person or free if you donate a coat for Coats for Kids.
