Our October Book Discussion will have a special visitor: Richard Gilmore Loftus! He will be joining us via Zoom for a poetry reading and discussion.
"Richard Gilmore Loftus had a nomadic upbringing, spending time in the Midwest, Greenwich Village, Dublin, and Majorca and later finding his way to South Africa and Rwanda. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in English literature and history. Loftus lives and writes in Michigan, where he enjoys playing piano and violin, walking with his dog, and building wooden boats. Autumn is his third full-length poetry collection, preceded by Dress Whites and Fireflies." For more information on the author, visit his website: http://www.rickloftus.net.
Attendees are welcome to see his presentation from inside the library. We will have him on the projector screen for the best visibility. You may also attend via Zoom from home. Contact the library for the Zoom login information. Everyone is welcome. He will read to us for about twenty minutes and then take our questions.
Book Discussion is sponsored by Dimes Brewhouse
