Bookworm Barbs: Zoey and Sassafras, Dragons and Marshmallows

When a sick baby dragon appears at her house, Zoey discovers an amazing secret: she can help heal sick magical animals!  Can Zoey use science to help heal the baby dragon?  

Join us this month to read Zoey and Sassafras: Dragons and Marshmallows, our book for Bookworm Barbs. Bookworm Barbs is our book club for students in K-2.  We read shorter chapter books with lots of pictures. Older first and second grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read aloud, too.  

Bookworm Barbs is a book party!  Not only will we talk about the book, we'll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too.  

Pick up a copy of the book at the Children’s Department Desk while supplies last. Please register, as space is limited.
