Learn how you can be a scientist in your spare time and volunteer to help other scientists all around the country. Today's show introduces the SciStarter web site https://scistarter.org/citizensciencemonth and highlights two projects suitable for all ages. The Great Sunflower Project helps identify pollinators and the Globe at Night measures light pollution.
You can pick up a sunflower growing kit or you can borrow one of our night measuring tools by calling the library at 508-362-2262.
This program was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services CARES Act Grant through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners award LS-246539-OLS-20.
