Community Partnerships Roundtable
Strong community partnerships are one of the hallmarks of a successful library. In fact, according to the Public Library Association survey, 98.5% of public libraries have at least one community partnership, ranging from early childhood centers (81.5%) to organizations serving older adults (73%). Join us for an informal online roundtable to discuss the partnerships that are making a difference in your community.
We'll explore questions such as:
What partnerships have been most successful?
How did you establish the relationship?
What programs or services have resulted from the partnership?
How has the partnership benefited your library and the community?
Whether you partner with schools, senior living communities, nonprofits, early childhood centers, social service agencies, local businesses, or other organizations, this is an opportunity to exchange ideas, celebrate successes, and learn from one another.
This session will be driven by participant discussion rather than formal presentations. Please come prepared to share your experiences, successes, challenges, or questions. The more everyone contributes, the more valuable the conversation will be for all participants. After all, a roundtable is only successful when participants are willing to share their ideas and learn from one another.
This roundtable is free for all NORWELD Members.
