Coopersville, MI

Located in Northcentral Ottawa County in Southwest Michigan, U.S., Coopersville has a small-town feel but is only 15 minutes away from the major city of Grand Rapids. Coopersville was named after Benjamin Cooper who purchased the land in 1845 to harvest timber. Today, the city is primarily a farming community with a population of over 4,000. Some main attractions of the small city are Coopersville Farm Museum, Coopersville Historical Museum, Coopersville & Marne Railway, Gavin Orchards, and Grassfields Cheese. Coopersville has various fun events including Outhouse 500 Race & Chili Cook-off, Annual Coopersville Tractor Show, and the Annual Nighttime Christmas Parade.
