Join pianist Daniel Kelly in this monthly series of collaborations with local artists. Together, they explore the intersection of music with various art forms & ideas, inviting audiences to actively participate in the creative process.

June 11 - Nature & Music w/ Guitarist & Composer Jesse Lewis 

Join guitarist/composer Jesse Lewis and Daniel Kelly as they bring the Creative Explorations series outside! Jesse has created a body of compositions that he records outside - in forests, caves, deserts, beaches, volcanoes, and even in a one hundred year old rowboat. Each song reflects a moment in time, an interaction with the natural world. For this final event before the summer break, Jesse and Daniel will lead everyone outside the library to deeply observe nature - trees, birds, the garden - gathering ideas from the group as we create a song together inspired by the natural world!
