Demystifying Medicare

This presentation of the Westchester Library System's Westchester Seniors Out Speaking (WSOS) demystifies the various parts of Medicare and lays out the costs associated with medical and drug insurance provided by the government and private companies. Topics include Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, prescription drug plans, Medigaps (supplemental plans), and other cost-saving programs. This overview will help people currently enrolled in Medicare, those soon to be 65 and planning their retirement, or those assisting relatives and friends with their Medicare decisions.
