DigiLit Series @ Ewald

Move over Appy Hour, it's time for the DigiLit series! An (optional) 3 week series that focuses on digital literacy...aka, teaching patrons valuable skills in using information technologies such as web browsers, email, the library catalog, apps, and so much more.

You do NOT have to attend all 3 weeks, as each week will cover a different topic. Please bring any passwords you may need, as well as your own device and library card. No registration required.

Week 1 - 8/7/24 - Devices. While GPPL are not personal device experts, we will try to show you basic features of common devices like phones, laptops, etc... to help you better adapt to your own device.

Week 2 - 8/14/24 - Internet Basics. We'll discuss using the internet, search engines, and email.

Week 3 - 8/21/24 - Appy Hour. Learn about Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy and all the ways you can read, listen, and watch from home.
