To celebrate Earth Month and Earth Day April 22, make your own hand sewn patches. They empower young and old to express their own ideas with a needle and thread! Live more sustainably -- just patch a hole or tear in your clothing with your own creative patch rather than replacing the whole item! The technique for sewing these patches requires just one straight stitch! Sew-a-long video will be available on our website under Virtual Programs from April 2 - April 30. Registration begins March 19, then stop by to pick up your project kit (limited supplies available). You can stitch the project with your own, easy-to-find supplies, too. Printed instructions also provided.
