Originally opened in 1981 as part of the Eden Park Community Center on Gus Young Avenue, now known as the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, the Eden Park Branch Library includes a covered drive-through at the entrance and a beautifully landscaped courtyard with covered seating area. Designed by Tipton Associates APAC, this 14,026 square foot library replaces the 2,285 square foot building and houses over 55,000 books, 70 magazines, 10 newspapers, and 3,500 videos, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs.
