Electric Cars: Past, Present, and Future
In this informative and timely presentation, learn about the history of electric automobiles as well as what's on the horizon. You will learn about the early efforts by Henry Ford and Thomas Edison to develop an electric car. See how important the Detroit Electric company was in the early success of electric vehicles. This lecture is presented by Russell Dore. He is a Board member of the MotorCities National Heritage Area, a member of the Northville Historical Society and a member of the Henry Ford Heritage Association. He holds Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degrees in the social sciences from Michigan State University and the University of Washington.
