Saturdays, 10/01, 11/12, 12/10, 4-5pm, Auditorium: The Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union and the Pontiac Public Library present a series of workshops to help adults cope with common financial challenges and learn how to invest. The series schedule follows below:

11/12, How to Spot a Scam: Learn about common frauds and tactics used by scammers. Learn how to recognize the red flags and keep your personal information safe.

12/10, Investment Vehicles: Need help starting a conversation about financial planning and the bigger picture? Learn the basics of investing, the concepts of risk and return, plus stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

01/21, Raising a Financially Literate Family: From allowance guidelines to first credit cards, learn ways to incorporate financial education early in a child’s life to help them make smart money choices.
