Garden Planning: Designing a Productive and Manageable Garden

Interested in gardening, but unsure how to start?

This program guides gardeners through the process of planning their garden for the season. It covers choosing the right site, mapping out beds, rotating crops, and selecting varieties that perform well in Wisconsin. The session includes timing charts, planting calendars, and practical strategies to maximize space and reduce maintenance. Participants learn how to match garden plans with their available time, resources, and garden goals.

Presented by Jacob Kluza, UW Horiculture Outreach Specialist, Winnebago County.
