Halloween Costume Swap
October 5, 2019, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Putnam District Library
Family Friendly, Free, Kids
*UPDATE: This event is canceled due to low participation. The library plans to offer it again next year, so hang on to those costumes after Halloween!*
Looking for a cool Halloween costume for your child?
Register for the Halloween Costume Swap at the library and find a “new” costume for your child while getting rid of that once worn costume from last year.
Based on the amount of costumes you bring to swap with, you can grab as many in return. The swap will include sizes ranging from infant to Children’s XL. This event is free and encourages engaging with the community while also finding a costume for this year’s Halloween fun!
Guidelines for acceptable costumes:
-Costume must be in good condition:
• No stains
• No pilling
• No rips or tears
-Costume must be washed before brought to swap
-Must be a full costume, no partials will be accepted*
*Accessories ex. fairy wings, swords, hats, swords etc. can be swapped for another accessory only, not an equal swap for a costume
-Wigs are not accepted
Come in with your costume(s) and register your child for the swap at the circulation desk! Registration is required in order to participate. The deadline to register and receive costumes will be October 2nd at closing.
