Halloween Hustle

Genesee County Parks is excited to once again team up with the Crim to host the Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids’ Trick-or-Trot inside the historic Crossroads Village! This festive fall event is part of our Ghosts & Goodies season and promises plenty of fun before, during, and after the race. Don’t forget your costumes—they’re highly encouraged!

Runners and walkers can take on the 5K course, winding through our decorated historic village on a mix of improved dirt roads. Kids can join the fun right after with the ¼ or ½ mile Trick-or-Trot youth race. All finishers will receive a 4” Crossroads Village–inspired medal and a special edition hat, with shirts available as an add-on. Participants will also enjoy on-course aid, seasonal finish line refreshments, and a post-race beverage tent for those 21 and older. Plus, with paid park admission, you’ll get to take a free ride on the carousel after the race!

We’ll be awarding top finishers in both running and walking divisions by age group—and of course, we’ll have special awards for the best costumes in several fun categories.
