Harper Woods is located in Wayne County, Michigan, U.S. According to the 2010 census, the population is 14,236. The city was named for its wooded area and Harper Avenue. It was once home to the first drive-in theatre in Metro Detroit and was one of the very first in the Midwest. Some popular attractions are Alden Park Towers, Chandler Park Golf Course, Ambleside Gallery, and for shopping fans, the Eastland Shopping Center.
