Hartford Public Library Summer Reading Program

The Hartford Public Library Summer Reading Program  begins June 20, 2023. Join us each Tuesday for STEM programs, Wednesdays offers Art programs and on Thursdays we will have a Presenter program. These events are free and geared toward children and reading.

Tuesday June 20th at 2pm - Lego Education & BricQ Motion

Wednesday June 21st at 2pm - Flower Power, Kindness Paper Chain and Color Me Dragonflies

Thursday June 22nd at 2pm - Traveling Zoo/ John Ball Zoo

We have great news! Book bucks are back. What does this mean? Well, children will earn book bucks for pages read during the summer. Children in the read-to-me category earn one book buck for every 30 pages read and independent readers earn on book buck for every 40 pages read. The books bucks can be spent in the libraries book buck store on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The last day to turn in reading logs will be June 27th and the last day to spend book bucks is August 2nd.
