Hearing the Story with author Jean Alicia Elster

Award-winning author and 2017 Kresge Artist Fellow Jean Alicia Elster will share details of how the oral history tradition within her family formed the backbone of the narrative and plot development of her Ford family historical fiction trilogy volumes Who’s Jim Hines?, The Colored Car and the recently published How It Happens.
