A parent community event that will feature speaker Dr. Mervin Langley, a Psychotherapist through Aurora Behavioral Health
The presentation would be centered around "How Your Child Makes Emotions: The Mystery, the Masterpiece, and a Map Toward Effective Emotional Regulation" -
Description
-Learn the cutting-edge brain science of emotion and how that helps us to nurture our child's emotional regulation
-Learn practical ways to improve your child's emotional regulation
An optional Q&A session will occur immediately after from7:30-8:00PM
Free childcare provided (children must be at least one year old). Snacks and water will be provided.
Featuring Dr. Mervin Langley of Aurora Behavioral Health
Dr. Mervin Langley provides therapy to children, teenagers, and families regarding a variety of mental health
disorders/concerns. Dr. Langley was associated with a major research stdy to develop motivational and coping skills
strategies through the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and has published journal articles and book chapters in the
US, Spain, and South Africa.
