Save money and energy at home!
The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus is partnering with ComEd and Nicor Gas to help residents save money and energy through the Home Energy Savings Program. Representative Tori Woolbright will host an informational booth in the library’s main lobby on this initiative and how to sign up for a free assessment.
A free Home Energy Savings Assessment will analyze energy use in your home and identify opportunities to save energy and money. With the assessment, you will receive a custom report and free energy saving products that include:
- Smart Thermostats
- Programmable thermostats
- WaterSense certified showerheads
- WaterSense certified faucet aerators
- Advanced power strips
- Shower flow optimizers
- LED light bulbs
- Pipe insulation
- Furnace Filters
- Door Sweeps
The assessment may be done in your home by an authorized energy advisor and products may be installed at that time, or they may be mailed for you to install. Income Eligible residents (those who earn less than 80% Area Median Income) may be eligible for a retrofit and/or further assistance program through your local Community Action Agency.
To enroll, please visit www.eesavings.com/mmc, email energy@mayorscaucus.org, or call (312) 201-4507.
