Into to Canva - Digital Literacy

Join us for a basic introduction to using the free online design tool Canva.

With Canva, you can create signs, flyers, posters, and so much more.
The free version offers a lot of functionality without needing to pay for the Pro upgrade.

We will look at how to create an account and the basics of creating yur own designs.
We will also show you where to find a lot of great free images and graphic items to add to your designs if you cannot find what you want in Canva.

No prior experience is required, but basic familiarity with using a web browser is required. If you have any experience with Microsoft Word or Publisher, or Google Docs, it's a bonus.

REGISTRATION is not required, but is appreciated so we know how many might be coming.

HPL has several laptops available if needed; please tell us if you need one when registering.
You can also participate with a tablet, but your own laptop is best best.

Light snacks and water will be provided.
