Jazz & Blues - A Taste of Mardi Gras with the Kerrytown Stompers

Celebrate Mardi Gras 2025 in Southfield!  Thrill to the rousing music of the Kerrytown Stompers; enjoy the taste of a sampling of the special robust flavors of New Orleans food and be a part of a Mardi Gras parade - parasol, beads and all!

Holding traditional New Orleans Jazz deep in their hearts, the Kerrytown Stompers have a deep passion for the early formation of jazz in all its aspects: history, culture, structure, improvisation and virtuosity.  They spend plenty of time in New Orleans and bring a stellar line-up: Kave Kosmyna on cornet, Ray Heitger on clarinet, Alex Belhaj on guitar, Chris Tabaczynski on bass and Pete Siers on drums and washboard.

Laissez les bons temps rouler!
