Olivia Van Goor is a Detroit-based jazz vocalist, band leader, arranger, producer and composer. In recent years she has become one of the most in demand jazz vocalists in Southeast Michigan. Her hard work has yielded two EPs, first When the Shadows Fall in 2021 and the second being Don’t Be Mad At Me in August of 2023. Reminiscent of vocalists like Anita O'Day, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, every concert she puts on is a fabulous blend of swingin' standards, vocal jazz improvisation, storytelling and classic sounding originals. Joined by some of Michigan's most fabulous musicians, this concert is not to be missed.
Advanced tickets available for $8. Limited cash tickets available at the door. $7 general admission or $5 for Friends of the Southfield Public Library members. No charge for children under 12. KR
