LSU is hosting the Mandela Washington Fellowship this summer, engaging 25 of Africa's bright, emerging Civic Engagement leaders for a Leadership Institute sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

As part of this program, LSU and EBRPL are partnering to host a summer reading event, where Fellows will present children's books from their home countries. Fellows represent over 20 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, so this is a wonderful opportunity for Baton Rouge families to engage with diverse delegations from the continent.

All ages are welcome. Groups are required to register. Call the library branch directly to register your group.
