Keego Harbor is a city in Oakland County, Michigan. that is known for its water recreation resources. As of the 2010 census, it has a population of 2,970. The city was originally founded as a real estate investment and planned resort by Joseph E. Sawyer who was a former mayor of Pontiac, Michigan. The name of the city originates from a Native American language and means “big fish”. Some fun things to do in Keego Harbor include Psychic Reading Lounge, TreeRunner West Bloomfield Adventure Park, and Erebus Escape. Annual events in the city are Taste of Keego Harbor and the City-Wide Garage Sale.
