Dorothy reads to us of her love, travels, and loss. Kente Cloth and Apricot Brandy is the story of a retired couple who fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling to West Africa together. They fall in love with the small fishing village of Elmina, Ghana, its people, and the expatriate community and decide to live there. They return home and while eagerly making plans for relocating the husband dies suddenly. After death, he returns, to visit with his wife, give sometimes unwanted advice.
